Ending Of An Era - Updates

Peter Thorogood MBE (1927-2025), passed away locally at Valerie Manor Care Home on 15th August. A much cherished and highly respected co-owner of St Mary's House and Gardens and the life partner of Roger Linton MBE. Peter's cremation service was held on 3rd September in Worthing (Findon) Crematorium.

Roger asked instead of flowers, if people wished, to donate to a Peter Thorogood St Mary's Restoration Fund:

All donations will help preserve the house and gardens that Peter so dearly loved, ensuring future generations can experience the magic he helped create.

A Memorial Service for Peter is now scheduled for:
2.30pm on 10th November at Steyning St Andrew's Church.
Peter and Roger's friend Rev Rupert Toovey will be officiating, and professional musicians and singers will be contributing.
